Newspapers Hacking and Zoomanity

Wow do you define news? And when you define it what do you call it when in print? Newspaper? Do you have any interest in seeing a stars pants as she climbs out of a car? Are you interested that another star has increased in weight size by 15 pounds? Do you really need to know that another start is going through a rotten divorce and her husband is acting like a rat? Or do you prefer to just get involved in the conversation of the who, what and how? Clearly newspapers have a long history with a big readership what how is news defined in a newspaper? The media have won the war of the mind on lots of fronts. Routine, acceptance, conditioning and repeatist zoomanic behaviors that are ultimately designed to make sales. That's it, the bottom line is sales. Really did you think the news about who is sleeping with you  and who wants to sleep with who is news for the nation? I'm in England so lets take one daily cover subject; Cheryl Cole. Shes on everything, everywhere, every shelf. Not bad for someone that clearly doesn't have a lot to offer to mankind. Yet she is a human being with human feelings. She had a meteoric rise in the UK media and like all media in UK they want to reveal, peel back and uncover every part of her life for thew UK public. She went through a divorce after her love rat, ball kicking first husband had been sleeping with anyone he could get his hands on. Or so the papers told us. So she rightly got rid of him. She went into the USA to work on x-factor, after one show got fired for whatever reason (the reason doesn't really matter) she just got fired. She came back to England and looks like (according to newspapers) going back to her ball kicking husband number one to try again. The news papers are in over-drive and trying to guide her along their moralistic path to a better life whilst sharing this with most of the population of the UK. The question is I suppose, who really cares? I'm not sure of the answer because I know in my experience I have heard young and old alike asking me or talking about what they think about this star. The public become so engrossed in her life they actually forget to live their own. Not just miss cole but a host of others. I once dated a lady who was engrossed with Angelina Jolie to the pint she read everything she could about her and actually in moments believed she was her (I know, just too weird). But there is really something much more sinister happening here. The press are running riot, tapping into phones lines trying to glean if she is having a boy or a girl, trying to see how upset the parents are over the death of their loved ones, trying to see if she is going to be on TV or been dropped but thee truth is if it really doesn't affect our lives for a greater good why do we need to know? The truth is we don't need to know if she has red of white knickers on or getting another divorce or wearing blues shoes but the media are clever. They hire the best in everything to so they can find out exactly how to sell you more. That's it bottom line, sell you more.

  •     Not inform

  •     Not direct

  •     Not give life to

  •     Not help and assist

To sell more! And the more we buy, the more we read, the more they deliver. Appetites can be created and slowly introduced to you, to your mind, to your thinking. Eventually the appetite becomes a type of addiction. You head for a newspaper first thing. You cannot pass without buying a news paper, you spend your weekends reading newspapers but the truth is... Are they giving you news or conditioning you into buying more news, reading more stories, getting involved in the lives of others? This is Zoomanitys way of holding you in a spot, holding you back, restricting your thinking, developing your thoughts, shaping, molding and conforming you and your mind into what is known as mainstream. Feed the masses the same messages, the masses then think and act the same, the masses then become one in it's thoughts and thinking. There are those that escape zoomanity but these are few and far between So the question is... have the media and newspapers taken control of your mind? Are you listening and reading the zoomanic calls that go out to zoomankind on a daily basis? Things are changing , they have to. Time are changing, there no choice. The old ways are dying and even the Murdoch empire will struggle to get through this one. Yet the truth is can zooman kind live without the Murdoch empire and its endless quest for control of the mind? There are those with eyes that are blind and those with ears that are deaf. Only those that want to hear will hear and those with eyes will want to see. You either live your life to it's maximum or live your life in the eyes of others, in the shadows of others, in the stories of others. Why would you do that? Why would we fill our conversation with the life of another? Surely its a basic law of humanity to fill our life with the best we can. Is the media giving you the best? So on the front of today's newspaper .... Cheryl Tells Ashley It's Really Over! Inside the paper, in a tiny little small, microscopic paragraph inside the paper that you'll probably never find, Cancer Rates Rise 20% Among Middle Aged: Obesity and Heavy Drinking Blamed Which is news, what story do people really need to hear and understand? Zoomanity really doesn't care, phone hacking, muck spreading, mind control ... Can you escape from  Zoomanity? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Alan Forrest Smith, Author, Escape from Zoomanity the Book.
