A Pretender Named Jesus

This is true so be warned but learn. Kate found God (don’t go just yet it gets interesting beyond words) and announced to her family she had found him. Her life and the life of her family were about to change. Kate had grown up in a regular family yet despite them being regular they probably had more than a lot of people had. She had a horse of her own that would win competitions. She had a small apartment built into the farm that she lived on. She also had everything a young woman could need including a lot of love and attention from her parents and siblings. At the age of 22 years old she had grown into a beautiful English rose of a woman with hair as blonde as the sun that reached all the way down to her small delicate waist. Not straight hair but hair with a wildness that looked untameable in the wind.One day in the city she met a guy that was to become her husband. His name was John and John loved his church although Kate had never been to a church on a regular basis. John persuaded Kate to join him. Kate enjoyed it and eventually, Kate and John became husband and wife. Kate's parents felt the faith was too overpowering. They could see their daughter slowly changing at a pace they couldn't keep up with. Kate eventually announced to her family that she would have to limit her contact with her loving family because they were not practicing Christians. That limitation eventually turned an even stronger corner when Kate announced to her family that they were worshippers of the Devil because they didn't worship with her at her church. Remember so far this is a true story and get worse before it gets better. The pastor at the church had to be removed from his position for dishonesty and corruption. The church dealt with is so it never went to the police. Suddenly the pastor had nowhere to live until Kate's husband John offered him the spare bedroom at their home. The church advised adjacent this yet they decided that God still loved the pastor and they should allow him to stay. The pastor moved on so now Kate and John were also removed from the church.Kate's mother and father were worried about what was taking place so drive the 184 miles to Kate's home to see if they were all doing fine? What they found horrified them. The pastor had taken control of the home. Kate and her husband John were now willingly subservient and both accepted that the pastor had been sent by God to save them. Kate would not allow her parents to go into the house. The pastor would not allow them into the house and John Kate's husband would not allow them inside either. In the meantime, Kate and Johns four children had stopped attending school and had ceased all contact with their grandparents. Five years ahead on a warm June afternoon a 15 year old teenager walked into the farm where Kate's parents live. It was the eldest of the four children. She had climbed out of the bathroom window, climbed down a pipe and ran to the railway station where she got on a train to her grandparents. She had no money so had be find by the train attendant but her grandparents didn't care they simply wanted her with them and now she was here. The young woman told them stories of endless abuse. How her mother is now terrified and sleeping with the pastor. How her father barely speaks and sits around and moves only when he is told to move.The pastor does not allow any of them to leave the house. They have no friends and are not allowed to contact anyone especially their family. The child decided to escape after the pastor tried to make advances to her whilst her parents were told to sit downstairs. Today as I write and share this story with you things have got worse. The children have not been seen or heard for six months. Kate believes the pastor is Jesus incarnate and believes everyone and everything else is wrong. John her husband is the same mind. The last update I had was the police are about to visit them and make sure the children are all fine. The police cannot do anything for Kate. They cannot do anything for John. They cannot remove the pastor that claims to be Jesus. They can remove the children but only if they appear to be under any direct threat. This removal can take a long long time and may never happen.Strange right? The point of this story and a story that has some small changes but is true is this. Is religion a force for good or bad? Individuals with persuasive words can extend a real power. That power is often a power of abuse for the good of the faith behind the power. Most people refuse or don't like to talk about religion yet religion is such a powerful force in itself should we not talk about those forces? Look what is happening in the middle east right now. ISIS are Muslims and everyone else is wrong. Yet they are battling Muslims, killing Muslims and persuading their own followers to kill themselves for the sake of going to heaven. The power they have is incredible to the point of death. The same can be said for many other ‘softer cultures’. Why is that? Most of us whether we like it or not have a space or place in us that appears to have a spiritual need. Spiritual needs can be temporarily filled with things like shopping and consumption. Spiritual needs can also be decided into accepting less when more is required. Spiritual needs are also part of the human that is hard to define unless the human truly digs deep and defines it.Zoomanity has programmed us to ask no questions. It has told us from being young to ask nothing about sex, politics and religion yet these are three of the most powerful forces in humanity. All three control and all three have power yet we are told from a young age not to question them. Why? See what took place with Kate and her family above - control. See what takes places with a nation - control. See what takes place with a faith - control yet control at what level? It seems to me that most of mankind want to think about nothing apart from what makes them happy in the moment yet what makes most of mankind happy is usually just a temporary fill of a gap within themselves.The old spiritual slavemasters of Zoomanity run their corruptions of heaven and heavenly promises yet ignore the direct results of their controls. All they know is they control the mass. Then there are the new spiritual directors that lead people into a faithless faith based around a small guru or a faith that faith is based around universal principles and the results seen before the individual and then we have other faiths of others kinds that extend their controls as far and as strongly as they possibly can. Even those with no faith or followers of new faith creators like Richard Dawkins despite their rejection of Gods and of faiths have replaced their faith with a faith in the evolved human or better presenters of nothing like Dawkins. So whether it’s ISIL or a man in your home claiming to be Jesus the real question is do we ask questions and confront those that serve their self created or manipulated faiths or do we do as we are told by a society seeking to control at every level and question nothing?Kate is still living with a man claiming to be Jesus.The pastor claiming to be Jesus is still getting away with what he is getting away with. The authorities know about it but are not sure what to do after all … this is a man of God… or is it?
