Human Potential

It’s time you lived the life you really deserve. Understand your potential as a human and only then … will it happen for you.

Imagine a man.

He is average, just an average man. Average height, average clothes, average life. His skin is gray, his hair is thinning, he wears an ill fighting black or a pin stripped suit with black shoes he bought from an average man’s clothing shop.

He is trying day after day, week after week to achieve more in his life. The more he tries, the harder it gets, he keeps trying.

He wants a big detached house with a big lounge and a big garden for his big family. He also wants a big flash car, in silver with 22" wheels, in chrome with low profiles tires and a full leather interior so every time he pulls into the office car park at home the neighbor’s know he has made it. By the way he wants a Mercedes AMG CLK … he loves the 3 star badge!

And holidays. He already has two weeks a year to Menorca in Spain singing ‘viva espana’ on karaoke night but he wants more. He wants to go where the guys in the top floor go each year to the Florida and maybe even a trip to New York or somewhere else with a bit more glam-bam that sounds cool and ‘made it’ in the office.

In work he shows his high, his excitement, his passion for working. At home he sits in front of the TV every night, drinking cheap wine and clicking back and forward on the remote control as his wife sleeps on the sofa.

So here he is, in the city, the big city of dreams. The train is ram-jam-packed with average people just like him.

This is the World of the Zooman!

There’s no place for humans here.

While on the train being crushed by an over… continue reading

How is it a Bastard can become one of the most creative minds in history?

Let me explain and also show you how knowing this could change the way you think and feel.

When born in April 15th 1452 his father took him away to live with him while his mother married another man eventually giving birth to another 17 siblings.

Because the child was a ‘bastard’ born outside of marriage this instantly gave him the handicap of being disqualified from education by the Church.

This meant if he was to learn… he would have to teach himself. So he went about teaching himself to write. Yet his technique was unusual to say the least. As he had never had formal education of any sort his writing to a form of writing from right to left in a nation where like the English all wrote from left to right.

Successful at writing his life then took on a voyage of discovery and achievement. This child was Leonardo Davinci.

Painter, artist, inventor, thinker and more. The man was clearly a genius. I was just wonder why?

When you look at what took place with him the moment was when society rejected him because he was a bastard. This cut him off from mainstream from birth.

Once cut off if he wanted to learn more about anything he would have to do it alone.

Isn’t that interesting.

The man was a recognized genius at EVERYTHING he did. At one point Davinci was even enlisted to make war machines and better more effective weapons. Hard to believe it was the same man that painted the last supper!

I believe there is a lesson here, a very powerful lesson for the way we our lives and grow as a human being.

Davinci had the… continue reading

I got a text message from a pal of mine. I had already asked him to meet for lunch and chat. His reply was ‘too busy’

I rang him and said doing what? He replied doing stuff.

Interesting I know for a fact his life appears to be fast. Going here, going there, doing this, doing that yet I wonder I just wonder.

I went for a walk thinking about him. I was thinking about him because he is part of the new super-generation of connected disconnects.

Think about this.

When I was 12 I had a young guy from the USA in my class for around 3-4 months. It was the first time any of us had seen an American outside the movies. I can remember us all being fascinated with this character wanting to hear him talk.

Now kids know people from all over the planet and it’s seen as normal. As I type my son Oli is on his PS3 speaking with kids all over the planet as they try and defeat the bad guys in games.

Smart phones have literally exploded. Now it appears the biggest trend for web browsing is phones NOT PC.

Facebook have just completed some research that indicates the slow death of email. When a large group of people were asked how they connect online MOST said Facebook. A large chunk of those didn’t own an email address. I know for a fact the only way to grab two of my sons is via Facebook.

Picture this: My son in his room. He plays his PS3. To his left is a laptop. To his right is a large PC. On his leg is an iPod. On his bed is an iPad. As he plays games he IMs his pals. He texts… continue reading

Meet Cameron.

He is a dreamer. He is a doer. He is a highlander. Cameron is building a house made from trees, real trees, huge trees, not a weak mans log. This is the real thing.

Let me explain.

On a recent trip into the Highlands of Scotland my friend drove me past and immense wooden structure standing alone in the forest. I asked my friend to quickly pull over and stop. I got out and couldn’t believe what I was looking at. It was a house built from trees, not small logs but massive full grown trees!

I was intrigued to say the least. This was my dream home and clearly someone else’s , I went to find out more.

So I decided to walk down the lane into the forest to check out what was going on.

As I walked down there was a work shed on the left, surrounded by chopped wood and tools. On the right was an even bigger shed where someone was clearly living. Directly ahead of me was what I can only describe a a herculean project that the photos I have supplied really don’t do justice to.

The closer I got the bigger the building appears. As I stood next to it, my head didn’t reach the window sill on the outside.

I spotted in the roofing what looked like a small guy wearing an rabbit skinned hat wearing jeans, a work belt and from the side of his mouth hung a self rolled cigarette you know the type that never gets smoked it just hangs there until the ash gets so heavy it drops off.

I shouted up ‘hello’ and asked if I could speak with him?

He climbed down the trees, approached me with a large smile… continue reading

Her name was Andromache, she was beautiful and strong like a real woman should be and used to be. Her hair was long, thick, dark and would blow in the wind like the sails of a ship blowing on the seas.

Her skinned was smoothed with exotic oils and the finest luxury care that could be afforded.

Andromache was tall, refined, stunning and every bit the Greek looking goddess she was meant to be.

Her life was a life of a Greek queen. She was worshiped as she should and would also worship the man that would give his very last breath for her. Her man was the kind of man we mostly no longer make. He was a real man, a warrior man, strong, proud, defiant and loving. Nothing could touch him, nothing could affect him, nothing could break his love for his wife. His name was Hector.

Yet here I was sitting in a Museum in Manchester across the small, aged leather sofa looking and studying a painting by Frederic Lord Leighton, 1888, at the Manchester City Art Galleries.

It’s a ancient Greek looking scene.

There are 15 women in the line all waiting to get water from the well. All the women look happy going along their regular business. There are 6 in front of Andromache and 8 behind her. There is a gap, Andromache stands out, it’s clear she has fallen and feels alien where she is. They all notice her, how can they fail to.

She was the wife of Hector. Hector now lay dead killed by Achilles and left rotting with the dead of battle, for the birds to devour.

She looked sad in the scene yet as I spent 20 minutes studying the painting I couldn’t help myself getting into her brain,… continue reading

Looking back over my past 10 years!

In just a few hours from now I’ll be in New York, USA bringing in the New Year at the famous Pink Elephant with some friends overlooking Times Square where it’ll be packed with revellers and a huge sprinkling of famous faces.

Before I get there it’ll be a time for reflection and goodbye to the ‘noughties’ and welcome to the ‘teenies’ That was a decade has taught me more about life than anything, any manual, any guide ever could.

2000: I began the year 2000 discovering something called the internet. I can see myself now as I ordered my very first home computer as the possibility of leaving hairdressing forever seemed like a reality I could actually reach by using the internet.

2001:By 2001 I was an expert at Search Engine positioning with page one positions on ALL search engines.

2002:By 2002 people were asking me to write pages for them by sheer accident and … paying me to do so!

2003:By the time the year 2003 had arrived I was working online almost full-time and for one reason or another had to walk away from my last salon business.

2004: By 2004 I was speaking all over the planet as an expert in marketing and internet business, speaking in countries like Australia, Asia and much more.

2005: By 2005 I resigned my position as an ordained minister of over 20 years of a certain religion.

2006:By 2006 I had started to look at my life and reclaim it back from decades of conditioning.

2007:By 2007 my marriage and relationship of 27 years had dramatically collapsed leaving a trail of destruction and 4 confused and sad kids in its wake.

2008:By 2008 I had spent two weeks in… continue reading

There is a battle taking place right now with you, in you. It’s called … the battle for YOU.

Today you will have over 100,000 words pass before your eyes and brain. Some won’t enter, some will.

These words, messages are fighting to get you first. See what happened to Matt.

Matt was having trouble making decisions of any kind. His business wasn’t going great, in fact he was struggling big time with countless debts rising and tearing his confidence to shreds.

Talk of recession and downturns all around him never helped. His wife didn’t like it, she fought daily with him about doing better, making more money, being a success like his pals.

Matt was unhappy, sad and lifeless. With no one to turn to Matt headed for the self-help area in the bookshop. He bought books, he read them, his ideas and directions began to change. Next h went to seminars, he watched, he listened, he went away with more ideas. The bought DVDs, listened to CDs and read the manuals that went with them devouring every word as he read.

Matt did this for 5 long years.

At the end of the 5 years Matt was a mess. His business was almost dead. His life was almost in shatters. His thinking was so active it no longer allowed him to sleep at night.

He didn’t realize but he was now facing a new problem, it was his own ‘Battle for You’

Matt had fallen victim and was at war. At war with himself. External thinkers, forces, advocates and gurus were battling for his mind. TV, media, radio and the deceptive web of deceit that can be the internet. And Matt had walked right into the web, being unable to free himself from the powerful glue like… continue reading

As I sat drinking a warm cup of green tea to my left sat a lady who was in a heated state talking ‘AT’ not with her man.

She called him ‘stupid’ and then continued to rant on and on about how much everything was costing her over Christmas. She looked like a misery-guts as she poured out her spirit of bitterness towards her husband.

It was at that point she pulled out a list as long as a toilet roll and began to go through endless requests for MORE that most of those that had asked already had somewhere in a corner from a previous Christmas.

It’s festive, Buy? Cry? Give time?

"Next lets go get mum’s bread-bin, although she already has two so not sure why she wants another" She whined!

"I have no idea what to buy dad so I am getting him more underpants and more socks and more gloves and more movies, he’ll be fine with that"

As her husband sat there with his back hunched, a puffy jacket on, old jeans, black nothing shoes, his hair (as groomed by his wife) a grey, tired, resentful, hen-pecked, over-whelmed and over-dominated look on his face he simply nodded with his mouth open, agreeing to anything his wife threw at him for the sake of a peaceful life.

She then said… "and what do you want?"

He replied… "I would like …" and before he could reply she screamed…"and you’re not having play station so don’t even ask"

That stopped him dead in his tracks so before the word PS3 left his mouth he changed it to…"a new spade so I can dig that nice garden into what you have always wanted"

She finished her 2nd large chocolate muffin and hot chocolate. She stood up quickly with… continue reading

Is your life put on hold because you are being chocolatized?

It’s critical for YOU that you know the answer.

So … here I am, finishing buying all of my groceries and as usual I forgot to get an item.

I asked the more-than-bored looking spot ridden teenage cashier to hold on as I have to go over to the other side of the superstore to grab the missing ingredient from my shopping trolley.

As I went in search for my missing product I had to walk up the endless aisle that was packed with chocolate of almost every kind.

Around half way along chocolate alley I could see in the distance a man stood in a dream-like stare. He was staring at the rows and rows of chocolate. He’d been chocolatized.

This guy was in his fifties, in a trance like state as his eyes went up and down, left then right, back and forth over row upon row of chocolate choice.

He was clearly overwhelmed by the choice to such an extent he had been well and truly chocolitized into a hypnotic trance.

I walked on by passed him, in front of his eyes, he never noticed me for a second. Not a blink or act of tiny movement.

Around 5 minutes later after finding my missing item, I walked past this same fifty something, he was still transfixed in choice by the endless rows and choice chocolate.

CHOCOLATIZED!

It got me wondering about not only the power of chocolate but what was or had taken place in this guys brain?

Because by knowing this we can get to know ourselves better. You see how many times in life have you become transfixed or almost held to the spot because of choice?

I am the first to… continue reading

There are those that want to destroy you. There are those that want to destroy you to fulfill their ego. There are those that want to destroy you, say they care about you and still try and destroy you.

DO NOT SKIP this article, it could change the way you think forever!

Are you living your life in a state of fear?

How good are you at making a decision?

Do your decisions divide you?

Sometimes you just know it isn’t the real thing, do you agree? You can either smell a rat, or there is something, somewhere not quite right.

And as histroy rolls on it is proved there are a lot of very clever fakes that despite the evidence are still venerated as the real thing. From DVDs to brand labels to car parts, to 21st century gurus!

For example, Shroud of Turin

The earliest reportings of ‘special’ linen cloth was in the 14th century in France. The shroud was believed to have been the cloth that was wrapped around Jesus when he was placed in his cold, stone tomb; and when the cloth was removed, it bore the image of Christ on it.

At the time (14th Century), a bishop proclaimed it to be a scam, and an artist confessed to painting the image on it, and Pope Clement VII officially declared the shroud a mere representation of Christ or FAKE.

All these proclamations were soon forgotten despite an admission from the artist. In 1988 three independent laboratories in Oxford, Zurich, and Arizona conducted radiocarbon dating tests and all agreed that the linen cloth originated around 1260-1390 A.D. – nearly 1400 years after Christ.

It’s interesting how believers in the Shroud say the tests were skewed by fungi and microbes which had accumulated… continue reading
