the MESSAGE

By Alan Forrest Smith | January 14, 2010

People are asking more and more about the MESSAGE.

If you are one of those I think you’ll find this quick interview about the MESSAGE interesting.

********************************
INT: So Alan, what is the MESSAGE all about?

You know, as a child growing up, developing, learning, discovering we all accept what we are told in love from our parents and most other adults in institutions like school, colleges, authorities etc. That is normal for inexperienced kids and adults right?

Yet as we begin to step into adulthood we very quickly discover that a lot of what we were told doesn’t appear to have a solid foundation in the truth of life. In fact a lot of what we have been told tends to hold us back, time and time again. This in turn can create problems for us in areas of … Relationships, health, finances and more.

Yet all of what we have been told to help us in life as we grew up was told in genuine love in most cases.

So the question is what goes wrong to create the effect in our lives where things really don’t seem to work as well as they should.

Successful people seem to be unhappy. Divorce rates are skyrocketing, health is suffering.

And as we really look at this stuff, lets take the so named "mid-life-crisis" as an example.

This seem to take place around late 30′s – 40-ish where adults seem to have some kind of realization that things are not what they should be. Promise haven’t been fulfilled, dreams haven’t been reached and ambitions are still a distant occupation yet to be reached!

This isn’t uncommon in fact it seems to be very common place. To name it a crisis is seen as ‘negative’ to be looked down upon but actually I like the word. You see when a crisis takes place in a country or a business, it spurs everyone into massive action to ensure that all will be ok. Yet it seems that if someone we know or hear about is having a mid-life crisis of some kind we are trained to pull away and almost think that are going nuts! This is during a time when that person really needs everyone to pull together.

So it has become increasingly clear to me that although we are taught things in life with the very best intentions, that does not mean what we are taught in life is the ‘truth’ or the best for us.

INT: Why is that, would people tell us lies deliberately?

No they would not and no they don’t. However most people simply pass on what they have learned in their own life. They share with you what they have also been taught by others as it has been handed down over the decades or even centuries.

And this is where the MESSAGE comes to life.

The MESSAGE delivers answers from a deeper, higher more profound source in life. It takes almost everything and questions it. It takes all the repated answers and investigates them. It takes the mannerisms, conditioning and repeatisms and asks why?

More important … the MESSAGE has been awakened by behaviors that urgently need to be addressed in all of mankind!

This is the basis of the MESSAGE.

INT: Are you saying the MESSAGE is from a higher source?

I am saying the MESSAGE has found it’s way here and it wants to speak to those with ears that can listen.

INT: What do you mean by that?

I mean we what I say. When sheep hear the voice of their master they follow. Sheep will only respond to the voice of their master. If the MESSAGE is right for the listener, they will react and respond accordingly.

INT: What are you expecting people to do?

I am not expecting anything from anyone, I am simply passing on the MESSAGE to those that want to hear.

INT: If you had to say in a few words what the MESSAGE is then what would you say?

The MESSAGE has arrived to wake up, alert and inform those that need to hear more than repeatist patterns. It unravels conditioning and allows the listeners to make choices based on what they have inside rather than what they hear outside. The MESSAGE will transform!

INT: Would you like to say anything else?

Yes, some know me as a marketing man etc so it is important to let people know the MESSAGE is NOT for profit of any kind. It is not going to be pushed on a wholesale basis.

The MESSAGE is based on awareness and a waking, it will thrive and grow into the global message it already is.

No cash is to be profited from the MESSAGE.

It is a voice from the place that transforms and must be shared amongst mankind.

INT: Alan, thank you.

Stupid Says …

By Alan Forrest Smith | November 30, 2009

Stupid says …

Lets control you and manipulate your life until you die. From birth, to early life, to mid life, to final days… stupid says … do as I say, not as I do!

Who lives your life for you? Is it YOU or stupid?

Unless you know, stupid will always control you.

You see, the big stupid politician who used to be a big rich but stupid businessman who cares only about his ego, his pride and his bank balance stupidly says…

WAR … lets do it.
TAXES … lets increase them.
HEALTH … lets leave them out and let these in.
OIL … lets take it.
BANKERS … lets let them go.
CRIMINALS … lets reform them.
GOD … lets tell them there isn’t one.
PLANET EARTH … lets take what we can before we die.

Honestly need I go on?

Labor failed let go democrat. Democrats failed let go labor. Labor failed, lets go Green. Green failed lets be rainbow warriors. Rainbow failed, lets go New Age.

Stupid loves it when we do that. Why? Because in a state of confusion like that we allow ourselves to be led like sheep to the slaughter.

Can you see what is going on?

We are faced with endless, stupid justifications of why certain things take place.

In the UK right now we have the Iraq war (invasion) inquiry. Clearly a war about OIL… but stupid says it’s about terror. Yet who is really in terror? Stupid say we should live a life of fear… JUST IN CASE… someone blows us up.

Two days ago a young man died near here. Not through terrorists but through crashing his car. A lady died also, she got hit by a train. And an old guy also died, he just dropped dead from ill health.

Yet stupid says we should spend each day in fear.

Can you see what is happening here?

OK, lets look at this.

History is a great teacher. History has taught us that if another country has something worth stealing a bigger, stronger power will create the first opportunity to go in and take it.

Nothing new here folks, this is how stupid works.

So really is there a bigger question here?

The reality appears to be MOST people want to be led. Led by whom? Can we trust current leaders to LEAD in a way that is morally justifiable?

It appears not.

Stupid says destroy, we destroy.

Stupid says …

Swine flu, CJD, virus attack, AIDS, killer germs … they are going to kill you. Are you dead yet?

Maybe we are becoming dead to taking control of our own lives. Maybe we are dead in the way we passively think. Maybe we are dead in our opinions.

Why all the silent voices? Where are the revolutionaries?

So let me get back to you.

You don’t have to listen to stupid.

Stupid rule the media, stupid rules the TV, stupid runs the newspapers, stupid eats, corrodes and devours every ounce of common humanity for stupid gain.

But how about you?

Did you decide what is best for you with the way you live your life?
Did you make a decision for your future based on what you felt deep inside?
Did you wake up this morning and decide yourself on what will be best for you today?

I doubt it and if you said NO really think about why you said no. Over the weekend a guy told me he is having a swine flu jab. I asked why? He said because he could die according to the government because of his age? I thought… actually at 74 you could die anyway.

Stupid says and stupid does.

The more we listen to and act on what stupid tells us the more we give our life away to others.

You are here to be a creator of your life. Every experience is created by you. The good, the bad and the downright ugly… YOU create them. It is your right as a human to do that. Are you doing that? Can you decide daily what will be best for you this day?

Stupid doesn’t care about you, stupid doesn’t care about mankind, stupid doesn’t care about anything and why?… Because stupid is stupid!

Stupid says … be passive, stay quiet and shut up… stupid knows best!

Lets make today a day where you can look at yourself and decide on the massive action you want to take. When I say massive I mean ONE SINGLE step closer to living the kind of life YOU really want to live.

Is you life fun? You attracted it.
Is your life depressing? You attracted it.
Is your life average? You attracted it
Is your life stupid? You could be listening too much to stupid!

It’s you life, my life, our life.

It’s up to us to create a life we enjoy. To honor the planet we live on. To show honor and love t others as and when we can.

Stupid doesn’t do that.

You do. You can.

Will you?

I love some feedback on this message.

Has it annoyed you because you love the voice of stupid? That’s fine, it’s been great serving you the past while.

If not … tell me what you feel.

NewAgeOldPage

By Alan Forrest Smith | September 14, 2009

John’s a bit of a hippy. Long dirty hair, old leather sandals, cloth clothing from a sheep on a mountain somewhere proclaimed to be organic. Washes once a week in cold water whilst eating hummus, peppers and other raw foods.

John’s a hippy but a good guy. I like him.

His philosophy is very simple. Peace, love and happiness.

Me and John talk a a lot. I find him intriguing.

John says he rejects religion. He was brought up as a Catholic. His Catholic schooling give him a life long fear of ‘religion’, not God.

John says …

"It’s not about God, it’s about the Universe, it’s about the new paradigm, it’s about being part of a community.

To some extent I agree. To another extent I don’t.

One thing I noticed about John is this (and he won’t mind me saying), he has a very fixed way of living his life and rarely shifts away from that way.

He dresses a certain way, mostly in something Mongolian a remote village somewhere. He only eats organic foods. He rarely cooks his foods. His actions look like ‘PACK’ actions. He loves his community that all claim to be unique yet at the same time all dress the same, all eat the same, all think almost the same and all read the same books. They watch the same movies, they go to the same training events, they are like a pod of Dolphins moving in unison.

Yet John tells me he hates organized religion.

So organized religion has a set of, lets call them rules. The followers of a faith are then expected to follow the rules. The followers will then live their life thinking about how do the rules affect their daily behavior.

Even the way some religions dress are expected. The food they eat is expected. The way they do almost everything – is expected.

Sound familiar?

I see this a lot on my global travels.

It really is the NewAgeOldPage Syndrome.

So here’s the thing.

People leave faiths to be free. They search for a freedom. They find that freedom in something else. That something else usually involves … more restrictions, more rules, more do this, do that if you want to be part of our community.

Can you see what takes place?

People leave a set of rules and boundaries and regulations only to reinstate a new set of rules and boundaries.

Most of the rules from before were set by men. Set by men to control the human. This new set of rules that John lives by … are they his rules or just another set of rules he feels more comfortable with?

So how could John be more of what he wants to be without getting involved in more of what he doesn’t want?

John like most people live in a life of fear. Fear of displeasing, fear of rejection, fear of something.

That fear when uncontrolled can be passed into anything in life. John has taken his early life fear and now lives by the same fears in his NewAgeOldPage faith. John says it isn’t a faith but of course it is.

For example when I ask John questions, he replies in the "WE don’t do things like that, we do it like this"

So who is the ‘WE’? It’s the reference back to the rules, the boundaries that are now controlling John’s life.

If John wants to be free, he has to discover himself. To discover himself  he has to dig deep. Digging deep is hard, it’s tough, it can be painful. In John’s case, it is easier for him to re-attach to new beliefs that make his life easier.

But we don’t talk about religion in public. Religion and politics are NOT for public discussion right?

Who said that?

Was it you or those that created all of the rules in the first place in religion and politics so you and others would never question anything over a honest and open discussion?

So we have to talk about stuff like this, be open about it, create our rules for our lives.

Look around you; are you of the reaction of others, what they’ll think or say before making any kind of decision?

Clothes, food, words, actions … do you as you feel is best for YOU or are you restricted by the thinking of others?

John … he’s a good guy. I really like him but he has allowed his mind to be filled with the thoughts of others AGAIN.

How about you. Do you think for yourself? Have you added some spiritual twist and ideas into your life believing you are totally free when in reality you have now become a slave to a new set of thoughts?

Provoking right? Well life is provoking, it should be provoking, it’s your life. You’re here to live it not allow it to be lived by someone else.

So how about you? Are you living or experiencing a life that is restricted by ideas and thoughts of others?

It really doesn’t have to be that way. You have a person deep within you that can be released. That person is the real you. It’s been covered by years of endless conditioning of some kind but … can be released.

John is a hippy that surrendered his new found freedom to NewAgeOldPage syndrome.

Tell me what you think I’d love to hear. Or are you too scared to post because of what someone, anyone will think?

NewAgeOldPage … I’ve heard it all before!

Classified Conformist

Are You a Classified Conformist?
——————————–
By

Alan Forrest Smith

This is a story you can discover from. Please read!

The bus was packed.

It was peak time after work had ended.

There wasn’t a seat remaining.

As some stood holding tightly to the rail one passenger demanded to another that she get off her seat and allow the standing passenger to sit down.

The passenger sitting flatly refused despite the fact in the past and probably only the day before she would have reluctantly surrendered her seat as she always did. Not today!

The passenger standing told her if she didn’t rise and let her have her seat she would call the police and have her arrested.

Again she refused. It would have been so much easier for her to simply get up and stand the rest of the journey but she stayed firmly on her seat.

Today was different.

It began the same.

It felt the same.

But today was different.

You see Rosa Parks was tired.

She was tired of the relentless pressure to mold her into something she wasn’t. She was fed up of the way she was being treated because of her skin color. She had simply had enough of it.

So on her own Rosa stood up against a nation with firmly based racist institution for her rights not as a black person but as a human being.

Now that’s just a  snatch I read in a magazine but you know it reminded me of every human being … you … on the planet today.

There always seem to come a point where like Rosa we have had enough.

Had enough of the way we are treated. Had enough of what we see daily on the news. Had enough of what we read. Had enough of the direction or lack of direction in our lives. We get to a point where we really do say …

"I have had enough!"

It’s at that point though one of two things take place.

The first one is this.

We are told to shut up and get on with it. That’s exactly what we do. We are silenced into more of the hum-drum existence until it’s repeated time and time and time again.

Yeah sure we cry like a baby for an hour or two then … silence and back under the control of others.

The second one is this.

A force so powerful, so relentless, so dynamic, so present is unchained within us and allowed to reveal itself for the first time ever.

Nothing, no one, no thing can stop it!

We finally take control and move the direction of our lives the way we feel is should be. We throw of the shackles and pain of control forever. We really have had enough and it’s time for us to show it, to reward ourselves with what we feel we really deserve.

That’s what Rosa did … she had enough and finally revolutionized an insidious system for a nation. ( I am not a Rosa parks expert so the details may not be accurate, it’s simply an example)

Can I ask you… "How is your life right now?"

Have you had enough of the way it is?

If you have you are not alone. Millions feel the same. Yet millions do nothing about it. Yet BILLIONS do niothing about it. What can you do?

Can you smash your daily routine and release the real you?

Can you do something today that you have never before done in your life?

Can you stop dead in your tracks, get away for a day or two and start to THINK  for yourself and take action beyond that?

This system is designed very carefully to keep you under control. To give you just enough to make you happy-ish and to stop you getting of the track that they have pre-set you.

You know I know a guy that is 25 years older than me from a job I once had.

From the day he began work he thought about how he would have enough cash for his pension. He worked his brains out all of his life, had a well paid job and has recently retired.

He told me this…

"all those years, all that overtime, all the money invested into my pension. Here I am now touching 70 years old and I still don’t have enough cash in the bank to go on a luxury holiday!. It was all a waste of time"

That is true. It’s from a real man, living a real life. My impression is this … he lived his life under the control and directions of a system that told him they know what is best when really they just wanted to silence another potential outbreak of humanity.

What is it you need?

What is it that will make you happy?

What is it you have had enough of?

You know what? And I really believe this. YOU, you … YOU! can change anything you want in your life. And I mean absolutely anything.

Or are you waiting around, sitting about, hanging out waiting for someone else to do that for you? Here’s the bad news. It won’t happen. You have to take action yourself. Can you? Will you? Rosa did, others have also but will you?

Next time you sit and say to yourself …

" I have had enough" … take huge action to put it right.

When I say huge action I mean … mountainous action on a scale that you have never done with anything before.

Now can be your time for change. You are your change. You have your own power to change anything.

You can.

But will you?

Are you happy to live your life as a classified conformist or will you break free?

Just a thought, just another iconoclastic rambling thought for the day.

I’d love to know what you think.

Recession Anarchist

By Alan Forrest Smith

This is a true story of an entrepreneur hairdresser that beat the last recession!

The bank manager wouldn’t lend me a penny despite the fact I had a plan!

Okay it wasn’t quite a plan, in fact it was a fill-in-the-blanks ‘thing’ that I bought from a business consulting company. I simply got it, filled in the blanks and walked into the bank. What else would you expect from a school-drop out with no qualifications?

The guy was an total idiot. He told me how good his son was at fishing and how he had caught one of the biggest Carps in the local Bridge water canal. He then talked to me about how his other son was going to university to advance his teaching career. He told me some others stuff until finally he said to me …

"what is it you want?" in an elevated, you’re not as good as me voice.

I said to him…

"can I have £25,000 please, I have a plan to grow and move my hairdressing salon"

He slowly slid his cheap glasses down his oily nose, looked over the top of them with a slightly frowned look and asked for my business plan.

I nervously handed the plan over to him that I had filled out just hours before over breakfast!

He looked, he asked and he finally said …

"are you kidding, you’ll be B.U.S.T in no time!

And with that response I walked away from my bank feeling totally deflated and beat.

Around 2 hours later I decided to sign for the lease on the new building anyway. I had no cash. I really wanted it. I knew in my heart I could really make it happen.

After just 18 months I had the number one hair and beauty salon in a town saturated with another 35 salons!

And here’s a point worth considering … it was in the thick of the last recession in the UK. I proudly I moved my salon from 250 square feet to 2,000 square feet.

I made it happen.

HOW?

By becoming a recession Anarchist, a dissenter, a rebel, a mutineer, a nonconformist – call it as you want – I simply created my own rules and played by them, not theirs (the media and system)

So let me explain.

I was reading just yesterday in the news paper how one of the UKs biggest stores are now slashing their marketing budget. In fact it gave a huge list of stores doing something very similar.

And that is something most will do during a recession. It’s what I call ‘subservient-sheep-thinking’ or in others words, do-as-your-told, believe what we say, follow and say nothing mindset.

So because the ‘system’ the media, the shop next door, the financial times, the wall street journal say …

"tighten your belts, recession is coming" … THEY DO AS they are told!

And what is really interesting is who gives the reports of coming doom and gloom?

Is it twenty something reporters that have only ever worked in and office and have zero experience in real business?

Is it hardened wall street people that act almost like lemmings in any situation?

Is it a news guy looking for a headline to sell his/her newspaper or magazine?

Is it people that have never in their life taken a risk, run a business, put their life on the line for a business, risked everything to make business work?

The answer is simple most of the people that are feeding you endless crap of approaching apocalyptic downturn have no idea when it comes to being in business so my question is this …

"why do we hold on to almost everything the report?"

So back to my recession beating salon.
Although we grew a massive amount during this recession we hardly spent a bean on adverting and marketing.

Here’s just a few things we did.

~ discovered guerrilla marketing by Jay Conrad Levinson and used almost every page in his book to create zero cost advertising.

~ kept busy and focused on the job in hand.

~ ignored external reports from everyone that had nothing to do with my business about how crazy I was and how it’ll fail.

~ never once gave in (although I had moments) until the business was flying.

~ we had a list of at least 5 marketing strategies that cost almost nothing we would carry out 6 days a week!

So here’s what I think.

You need to be a media Anarchist, a recession anarchist to survive. Throw away the rule book, create your own success and remember what the guys that give all this news and bad reports usually have zero experience with what you are doing.

I believe 2009 will be one of my best years ever, do you?

It can be.

Take control of your own life. make your own decisions.

Become a…

Recession Anarchist!

I’d love your comment on this.
