FakeFearFraud

There are those that want to destroy you. There are those that want to destroy you to fulfill their ego. There are those that want to destroy you, say they care about you and still try and destroy you.

DO NOT SKIP this article, it could change the way you think forever!

Are you living your life in a state of fear?

How good are you at making a decision?

Do your decisions divide you?

Sometimes you just know it isn’t the real thing, do you agree? You can either smell a rat, or there is something, somewhere not quite right.

And as histroy rolls on it is proved there are a lot of very clever fakes that despite the evidence are still venerated as the real thing. From DVDs to brand labels to car parts, to 21st century gurus!

For example, Shroud of Turin

The earliest reportings of ‘special’ linen cloth was in the 14th century in France. The shroud was believed to have been the cloth that was wrapped around Jesus when he was placed in his cold, stone tomb; and when the cloth was removed, it bore the image of Christ on it.

At the time (14th Century), a bishop proclaimed it to be a scam, and an artist confessed to painting the image on it, and Pope Clement VII officially declared the shroud a mere representation of Christ or FAKE.

All these proclamations were soon forgotten despite an admission from the artist. In 1988 three independent laboratories in Oxford, Zurich, and Arizona conducted radiocarbon dating tests and all agreed that the linen cloth originated around 1260-1390 A.D. – nearly 1400 years after Christ.

It’s interesting how believers in the Shroud say the tests were skewed by fungi and microbes which had accumulated over the centuries.

Interesting don’t you think?

Now of course this rambling communication isn’t about Christ but about how fakes present themselves as the real thing and of course why do they do that?

You see this World is awash with genuine fakes. Have you met many? Do you understand why they do it?

Fake cars, fake passports, fake masters, fake partners, fake Mona Lisa, fake brand labels, fake everything.

History is littered with them.

But now and then someone will come along someone that sees right through it. They see and feel that this is NOT the real thing.

While others remain hypnotized under the spell of the fake this one has clarity and wisdom.

Why is that?

Most of us live our life in a state of fear, the media and rulers and even modern day gurus make sure of that. This fear gives rise to us always looking to an external force to lead us. So fear weakens us, holds us in a lower state of true vibration and invisibly forces us to look and adhere to a leader. What the leader tells us because of fear … we accept as the real thing, the truth. DESPITE the fact that something very deep within us tells us otherwise.

Your body reacts to fakes, it reacts to lies. So although your mind will say one thing and mostly take the lead, your body will tell you otherwise yet most of us ignore that.

You know that feeling, that gut feeling, that deep set feeling when we do something but we are just not that sure? That is your body telling you… THIS IS A FAKE!

So why do fakes do so well? It’s very easy. Fakes play on the fears, your fears.

They are masters of deception, masters of persuasion, self engrossed in the glory of ego and self, never of another.

So if a committed believer in the Shroud of Turin sees and hears the facts about the shrouds lack of authenticity he or she will resist it until their death because it is too fearful to think otherwise. They refuse to challenge their own mind despite the evidence because of their own fears.

In modern times, I have seen on more than one occasion at live events speakers playing on the fears of the crowds. They get to know the crowds weaknesses, they get to know what the crowds really wants, they get to know how large portions of the crowd thinks.

That’s the easy bit. And because money and not serving the higher good is the aim of the fraudster, they use, they abuse and peel open the fears of the crowd using powerful mind tools and subliminal placing of thoughts so as to hook the listener in and get them in their grip.

Why does the listener fall for it? Because the fears in them put them in a position of looking for a leader despite the fact the body is saying FAKE!

One magical thing I have learned in life. I have learned this the hard way.

We (YOU) are the creators of our life. Our life is a measurable thing. It’s a moment in time but can simply be measured. The results of what we do reflect in our daily lives. If we play with a sharp knife despite what our parents say and we cut ourselves, the result is clear. If we do what another tells us under peer pressure and then later get exposed, we can face the possibility of prison.

Yet the questions is why do fakes present themselves the way they do?

Doesn’t the fake artist do it to prove he is an incredible artist as good or better than Van Gough? Doesn’t the speaker on stage present their fakes to give themselves the adoration, significance, elevated status and wealth despite the damage left on thousands who are blinded into maxxing out their credit cards on a promise? Why did the artist of the shroud do what he did? Was it to prove he was a master at something or did he want others to recognize his greatness and soak up the acclaim that would come with?

The fakes are about them, themselves, their riches, their bank balance, their disgustingly huge ego. The fake will do anything to fill their own need.

Have you been a victim of a fake?

Don’t worry, all is fine. You are a greater person than you are led by them to believe. You can overcome this depth less, shallow, deceptive behaviors that might have affected you. Fakes ALWAYS reap the destruction they sow at some point.

Here’s a simple test you can do for yourself when faced with a fake.

1. Does it FEEL kind of hard to believe of not quite right? IT’S FAKE!

2. Do you still have a stack of questions despite what your head and heart are telling you? IT’S A FAKE!

3. Are you buying or believing purely on the persuasion of a powerfully trained mind of the fakester? IT’S A FAKE!

These are great times we are living in. Yes there are frauds and plenty of them. Big promises of salvation and riches. These experts will vanish just like their promises of riches. They will vanish in the old empire of this world whilst truth seekers watch a new birth a new emergence of something much greater.

This isn not a life based on taking, taking and taking. This is not a life based on what can I get from someone else to make my life better. This is a life based on GIVING FREELY and recieving freely. In abaundance, in massive abundance. This is lasting riches that can never vanish or be taken away from you.

This is your time to wake up, to come to life, to be aware, to develop your own consciousness and awaken to greater, bigger, longer lasting riches of the heart.

Can I ask; Have you ever been ripped off, chewed up and spat out by a deception, a fake, an ego of some kind?

Would you post it here with proof of both the deciever and the deception? Or are you so ashamed or still feel under the spell of the guru?

This is your chance to break out, break free of the mind shackles of the fake.

Hit reply, let us know.

  1. Looking at this from another angle – or the other end of the telescope if you will – one of the biggest messages in Louise L Hay’s book ‘You Can Heal Your Life’ is EVERYONE’S deep seated fear that they are not good enough/don’t know what they are doing/are a fake in some way…

Having experienced lots of client mentoring, I’ve noticed people tend to fall into two camps – the ones who believe and take on board the advice, then run with it and use the energy to make things happen. Then there are others who try to ‘give away’ their power, by expecting the coach to perform miracles for them, and then if nothing manifests blaming the third party for failing them in some way.

Of course the art of being a great mentor is to keep giving the client back the power if they start trying to make you the Fairy Godmother!

So I don’t think it’s right to label anyone as a ‘fake’, I think the bigger question is what do you feel you are lacking and why are you looking outside yourself for the magic answer.

      Hi Rachel, Alan here.

NO not everyone is a FAKE.

I have worked with some brilliant mentors and coaches. Aramnd Morin, Brett Mc Fall and literally dozens more. However this is not a blame game. It is simply a warning to make the audience more aware of what is out there and what can hurt them. This post is from “behind-the-scenes”!

      Great comment, thanks.

    Hi Alan

So many F words in this post. I thought this was meant to be a PG blog :-)

Jokes aside, I think you raise a very important point that anyone who has been in the IM game for 2 mins can relate to. Still I love Rachel’s take and the need for us to pause and ask ourselves why we need the fairy dust from a Guru’s wand to fall on us before we take action.

I think the seeds you need to become the STAR you’ve always dreamed about are right under your nose.

And if you take the time to cultivate and grow those seeds, then you won’t need the validation or gospel of a ‘Guru’ to know that you have what it takes to turn water into wine.

    Thanks for sharing bro.

I got hornswoggled by a Guru once when I purchased what turned out to be vaporware. He had been mentioned favorably by Jay Abraham which I valued as he always seemed to be a straight shooter. Below is a short snippet of two year conversation where the Guru admitted my recitation were accurate (11/13/2000) and promised repeatedly to refund my mis-spent funds but never followed through.

    9/15/2000 (From me)

Please refund the $2500.00 I sent you for the reprint rights for your material.

At the time you accepted my payment, you told me that the material would be in my
hands “in a couple weeks” and that – in the interim – you would send me sample
marketing materials so that I would have a better idea of the content involved and
could be formulating a preliminary strategy on how I could profit from them. You also
said “we will be talking a lot about marketing shortly” and that you would be working
one on one with those who licensed your materials, particularly the first 7 (of which I was one).

It has been eight weeks since you received my payment and I have not received so much as an email, post card or phone call from you in all that time, much less any of the merchandise. By any measure of fairness or law, a refund is fully justified. I trust that you will do the right thing and honor my request.

    ###############################################

    11/13/2000 (Guru’s response)

You’re right, we don’t see things the same way. I do respect what you’re saying, and agree with you about the facts. That’s not at
    issue.

    11/20/2000 (Guru’s response)

As for a refund schedule, I will refund your money $400 per month over the next five months, with a $500 payment in month six. I
will accelerate that if our our cash flow permits. Keep the audio tapes. No need to return them. There’s no charge for the profile
    nor the time we spent.

    ###############################################

    01/03/2001 (From me)

Just a reminder – This was what you promised 2 months ago:

As for a refund schedule, I will refund your money $400 per month over the next five months, with a $500 payment in month six. I
will accelerate that if our our cash flow permits.

I haven’t received any payments as yet.

    ###############################################

    07/15/2002 (Guru’s last promise)

We will get a check out to you this month. I’ll email you when it goes out.

I was so excited to find an ‘Online Networking Guru’ when I found myself jobless at the turn of 09′, My gut was saying don’t spend $’s until you feel he has proven himself…… 3 mths go by and there was an offer of some tried and tested marketing material, which included an overview of the marketing process that I could create from it…. marvelous this is the moment (said my ego that was by now needing money coming in..) I parted with my cash, was sent material that has worked historically…. in the day of Henry Ford…. (I appreciate that some things are always relevant), the pisser came when I had written a heart felt message to said person thanking them and telling them of my situation as it was then, along with my marketing efforts for his overview…. It took several messages to get through and the reply was ‘You need to get your shxt together before embarking on this business process’ which shattered my illusion of this so called guru and my belief in him (he was one of these that was a great advocate of being honest and truthful and giving)…. Anyway we are now at the other end of 09′ and in the last 6 months I have under my own steam developed a system that I tentatively rolled out 3 months ago in the US and we are within 2-3 weeks of the 1st deal coming through…. when I have proven to all involved that my system works, we will be flat out!! and in 12 mths have gone from 0 to the start of a definite path to financial freedom, with only a guru along the way to prove to me that the answers are all within. We don’t need guru’s telling us that they have the formula to success and it will only cost $000/month. Just a thought, The internet has the ability to speed so many things up…. when one gets badly bitten by a guru (FAKE) event in their lives, then thats it, it makes one more skeptical than ever, so when the internet seems to become full of such guru’s offering the road to riches, one disbelieves the whole myth of guru’s and what they supposedly stand for. This process takes a matter of months, so the need for fakes to keep reinventing them selves is massive and can be done in a nanofart….. Unfortunately Alan I found you after my fake guru incident. The way in which you right seems so often inline with my thinking…. and I know of the importance of surrounding yourself with like minded (not minded, but spirited)people, its just that I now believe that they come in different ways than paying upfront and never meeting them…

Strange, when I came to live in the West 17 years ago almost everything felt Fake to me. Especially the tasteless food. And the discrepancy between the Real bodies filled with real violence everywhere, yet fake relationships and fake modes of conduct were (and are) the norm. Since then I have passed through periods in seeing beyond the Fake and into the grain of Real that exists in everything, even the Fake. And periods where I am lost, and everything is Foreign and Fake … Once again a black or white approach to Fake vs non-Fake does not get us anywhere beyond the wild yo-yo ride that seems to be the psychological norm in capitalism… Seeing beyond the Fake veneer, and stepping up steps of Fake is the only way to transcend this kind of limitations in perception … though I am yet to find food with taste around here, even organic food, although high in energy is low in taste …

  7. Alan:

You keep addressing fundamental aspects of human nature, what are you some kind of philosopher?

First I want to address the issue of the shrould of Turin authenticity. See http://www.shroud.com/meacham2.htm for the latest scholarly opinions.

Second I want to address the herd instinct in mankind. There are several variations this sentiment but my favorite goes “You pays your money and takes your chances!”.

I believe that like school children at various grade levels we follow what we believe at the time is the best course for us. As our experiences teach us we change course and follow new paths as we are ready for the lessons those paths teach. I believe we all have one goal at the end of the day, to become as one with God. Admittedly, some of the paths chosen by others are in the “What are you thinking” category but it is not our right to choose for someone else. I am far to busy with my problems to deal with someone else’s problems.

In 55 years of living I have come to understand the following progression. Wisdom comes from experience, experience comes from making mistakes. Without our mistakes and wrong paths we do not grow! You must fail your way to success! Nobody ever got it right the first time and nobody ever will.
