Everybody wants to be saved.

Saved from the tax man.

Saved from your landlord.

Saved from credit cards.

Saved from their jobs.

Saved from life itself.

The bad news is … you are going to die at some point, we all are.

So being saved from everything and anything never changes the outcome of life.

However… we can control, change and mold our weekly, daily, hourly life.

This is a sad little story but not unusual.

The Coma Consciousness

If You Think Your Conscious Read This But Take No Offense. It’s Simply an Observation.

I have noticed more and more there are people claiming to have a higher level of conscious thinking.

I meet people like this all the time everywhere I go when I meet large groups of people teaching.

It appears to be a bit like this for them.

They have been doing a job or living a hum-drum life for sometime. Or simply the fact they are… ordinary.

They read books or buy training DVDs or attend a training weekend and suddenly … they became conscious or awakened.

Conscious of what? Awakened to what?

To their own human potential. To the massive potential they have within the grasp of the own being. They suddenly realize there is more to life than the crap I have been taught all of my life.

In some cases I have spoke to people that have taken the most extreme action following their own awakening.

Let me talk about Tom for a second.

Tom first went to a large training weekend 4 years ago now in 2004. It was the first time in his life he had ever been to a training weekend like this.

It was more like a rock concert rather than a seminar.

At just over 50 years old Tom suddenly had an “awakening”, he suddenly became conscious to his own life and potential!

At this stage of life Tom had a very successful business.

Brainwash Brain

WARNING: some of you reading this might be offended. It could challenge your beliefs. You have been warned.

In the year 1997 I met a friend I hadn’t seen since we were around 21 years old. At 21 John was a total madman!

He had been taking heroin, smoking joints, glue and just about anything else he could get his hands on for a high than high fix.

To fund his addiction he had to steal. He would steal from anyone, anything at anytime. Yet to look in the eyes of John… he had the innocence of an Angel.

The last time we met was at a rock gig. John looked a total mess and frankly, close to death.

As time passed I had a call from a pal of mine named Kenny. Kenny told me John had died from drugs. I was horrified to be honest, totally in shock yet it was what I expected to happen at some point.

I thought that was the end of John. It wasn’t.

One day some years later I was in my kitchen making dinner when the phone rang. It was John. As you can imagine, I was totally freaked out. I told him about his death, he laughed and said he had heard that he had died. Funny I know!

We decided after a 30 minute conversation to meet up soon.

Just 5 days later John faced me across a table as we drank Tea together.

Imagine this please right now.
